Jesse Mercado Cell: (949) 633-4035 E-mail: jmercado@basketballrealm.com
Jesse Mercado has been a student, fan, coach, trainer and mentor of the game of basketball throughout his life. After an injury put a halt to his collegiate student athlete career at UC Santa Barbara, he pursued his passion for basketball from a different aspect; by teaching and mentoring the game. Jesse has been a trainer and coach since 1998 and has worked with youth, AAU, high school, collegiate and professional athletes local and internationally. Jesse has also worked with AAU and high school teams all over Southern California as well as coaching in the High School Varsity ranks since 1999, most recently at JSerra, Villa Park and Mission Viejo High Schools. In 2007, he founded the Basketball Realm with the intentions of teaching and mentoring student athletes of tomorrow. Through intense, positive and energetic instruction, Jesse helps develop skill sets and polish fundamentals to ensure an overall growth in each student athlete. His ultimate goal is to help student athletes reach the next level in basketball and more importantly develop life skills. Jesse continues to work with all athletes; youth to professional throughout Southern California as well as internationally.
